Is it more difficult for an older writer to find an agent?

I know agents are looking for career writers, but if the novel is good, saleable, marketable, and all the neaty-keene things they want, I don't think it would be a problem. There are a few debut memoirs and novels coming out by older writers who got a late start. Just write, write, write and don't worry about that:)

They see your query, a synopsis, some excerpts and maybe a brief bio. I don't even have
my age on my bio. I think most want to know you're good for more than one book but
age shouldn't matter.
