Penny, What a horrible situation! It would be nice if some vets volunteers their services to spay them.
Enjoying all the stories. I don't know how Little Kitty is going to fare the next 3 or 4 nights. DH is out-of-town and he's the one she has really bonded with. Well, I did tell him since he was the one who wanted to keep her "as an outside cat" that she was his responsibility. So, when she came home from her operation, he took her in his room to watch. That was 10 days ago. She goes out, but she sleeps in his room.
