Thanksgiving
« on: November 23, 2008, 08:31:44 AM »

We will soon be heading over the river(s) and through the woods to Grandmother's (Gran's) house.

Hope you all have a wonderful and thanks-filled day with your loved ones.

Have a wonderful turkey day one and all!

Mine will be spent with a loving intentional family who have graciously included me for the last three years. I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone.

I hope everyone has a happy turkey day too.

My daughter called and said, "Mom, I'm cooking this year. All you have to do is show up."

Music to my ears.

Darn! My calendar doesn't seem to show Canadian Thanksgiving day, so I don't know whether it's to early or too late to extend the same good wishes across the border!  Well, happy and grateful dining to those on this side, anyway.  (Does anybody know whether the USA and Canada are the only two nations to enjoy such a holiday?)
