I'm currently subbing my first mystery novel - "A Tasty Murder" (any agents out there reading this?) and have started the second in what will hopefully become a very long series and make me famous once again. When I'm writing, several days a week, I usually write anywhere from 2000 to 5000 words a day.
What I'm looking for is a writing buddy. Someone who writes as well or preferably better than me and has the time to critique my work as it progresses. I will reciprocate in kind, obviously, in a no-holds-barred format. Don't pat me on the back unless I really deserve it, because if you are screwing up, I'll be in your face.
My preference is a female, as my protagonist is a 33 year-old woman. However, that is not a deal breaker. And I would even consider several folks, perhaps forming, how shall I put this? A workshop!
If you're interested you can either post here or send me an e-mail - rickyg at fawnridge dot com. The second book - "Kidnapped In Overtime" - is already at 10,000 words, so I'm ready for help and perhaps a swift kick in the butt.
Thanks to all takers.
