Kathy W., for the nonce, I'm working Chicago's Union Station (which, covering, as it does a half-dozen or so square blocks, with 200,000+ people traveling through it most days, is a pretty massive beat all by itself),
Oh my I remember that train station! We stopped there on our cross country journey to the Rose Bowl Parade in 199...8 or 9. We had time between trains and went outside to see the snow....and what snow it was! Don't get it that deep in Virginia too often if ever. First time our son, then 6, has ever seen anything like it.
Of course that's also the station where we lost his backpack on the return trip. The one that had all the homework and class assignments he'd done while away to make up for missing school. Alas.
It's nice to be able to have a few memories of that place and think of you there, Jim! Glad to hear it's going well
