Could someone pleawe enlighten me as to when and when "esquire" is used? I thought all these titles were something of the past?

It can be used by lawyers, and sometimes is.  Not that Wikipedia is always the world's greatest reference, but here's the Wikipedia entry:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esquire
