My name is James C. Hays. I am an author with two works currently on Kindle and Nook. The first is a True Crime that has been featured on Unsolved Mysteries and Discovery I.D. Channel's Deady Women series (episode name: Born Bad) Book title: "I'm just an ordinary girl." The Sharon Kinne Story.
The second is a fictional murder mystery that takes place at the Jefferson Barracks Veterans Hospital. (NOTE: The V.A. allowed me permission to use this facility as a backdrop. It is also where I get care for a recent heart attack). Book title: Father 27
The books sell for $2.99 each

Welcome aboard, James.  Hope the VA is treating you well after the heart attack.

Father 27 sound interesting.  I'm checking it out at Amazon.  I confess that I never favored 'based on a true story' books or movies (just a quirk in me) but sounds like you've had wonderful success with it.

Lots of nice friendly people at this forum willing to offer all kinds of help.

Thanks, Old Bill. Yes. Sharon Kinne did quite well in hard cover. I think it interesting to note that if you Google Sharon Kinne you'll find page-after-page, but when I started my research on her (She comes from from my old hometown of Independence, MO) there was nothing at all on the internet. The book on Kindle and Nook is actually a rewrite of the original. The original is 96,000 words and the rewrite is 127,000. Sharon Kinne still has an active murder warrant so it is a living story.
