Welcome to MWF, John Connor! Take a moment and introduce yourself. What do you write? Are you published? Who is your favorite author?

Enjoy your stay!

Sometimes it takes therapy to put the past behind you. Other times, it takes a 20 gallon trash bag and a couple of cinder blocks.

Well, for my sins (which are many and readily recounted by my better half) I am the elder brother of Andy Connor, and part of the newly formed Murderous-Ink crime writers' group (inserts shameless plug here - www.murderous-ink.co.uk)

I'm at present moving house, but when not trying to raise my blood pressure above the 190 mark I enjoy writing various genres (mostly American PI novel material, but in the past there has also been some SF material.)  Was originally heavily involved with the UK SF Fandom scene from around 1974 (another shameless plug - see Steve Sneyd's FLIGHTS FROM THE IRON MOON) but gravitated to crime and mysteries over the years.

Looking to find critiquers (and willing to do the same) who are prepared to be honest rather than just kind (though that's not to say I don't mind 'kind' now and again...) and generally get involved, and maybe also get back into the small press publishing now that the ePublishing route has taken off.

Favourite authors?  You never know what you like until you read it - so, Robert Parker, Janet Evanovitch, Joseph Wambaugh, Colin Bateman, Reginald Hill, John D. & also Ross McDonald, Chandler, that one with the blind PI who - no, not that one, the other one, you know, the one with the odd hairstyle and the wooden....

(Oh, yeah.  I also like a good splash of humour in life as well.)

Best to all!

(What?  Look, I'm British, it's SUPPOSED to be spelled that way...)
