Hi, all! I am currently working on the sequel to my mystery novel, although the first is not exactly published yet. I live in hope...
I am a freelance author, among other things, and have had dozens of articles published in newspapers and mags in the Greater Toronto Area. Many of my personal essays have been published in anthologies, and I've won several awards for humour (as you might guess, humour tends to find its way into most of my writing). I am studying editing/publishing in my spare time, and I'm proud to be included in Carla Norton's acknowledgements in her breakout Novel, The Edge of Normal, as part of her critique circle.
Sean Chercover is a favourite author of mine, as is Linwood Barclay, but it was Sue Grafton's fresh voice, 20-odd years ago, that inspired me to write. I'm looking forward to chatting with other mystery writers once I learn to navigate this site (which could take a while. Did I mention that I'm a Luddite?)
