Thank you! I'm an amateur writer who has decided to take on a 30-day writing challenge to see if I can actually write a full-length novel! Of course the novel I decide to write is something in a genre I've never written in - Mystery/crime drama - it's an idea that's been bouncing around in my head so I decided to give it a shot.

I'm hoping that I can find some answers to my questions about writing in this genre and where I can find information or get information on the various intricacies of police procedures, jurisdiction, and so on.

To date I don't have anything published, I do have some novella and short stories in the romance and fantasy genre that I would like to eventually publish. I need to sit down and either finish them and/or edit them. Plus, make sure they are actually worth publishing!

I love fiction, all kinds of fiction! My favorite author, the author that is actually the reason I love reading, is JRR Tolkien. I know, not a mystery writer but, because I picked up one of his books one day I found my love of reading and from there I've read a variety of genres.  Anyway, I think that's enough of an introduction!
