Mystery Weekly is a free newsletter style mystery magazine published weekly. We are looking for short story submissions between 1k-10k words and pay .005 (a half cent) per word. This is expected to increase as readership increases, but currently it is not a revenue generating publication. Most types of mystery are considered as we would like to offer a nice variety to readers, but generally the tone is similar to AHMM or Ellery Queen.
We cannot afford the time or expense of editing submissions, so please make sure it is publication ready. Response time is around 1-2 weeks, but since we eagerly read them as soon as they come in, a reply on the same day is possible.
