Sometimes it takes therapy to put the past behind you. Other times, it takes a 20 gallon trash bag and a couple of cinder blocks.

I LOVE NaNo!!!  It's one of my favorite times of the year.

I haven't decided what I'll be working on yet.  Either a mystery or a fantasy...I love a good dragon story:--)

Is there a thread for this group in the Writing Group and Clubs thread for us to hang out and report in???

November 2nd. Haven't written anything today. Thank heavens I didn't sign up for NaNoWriMo  :)

I write too dang slow to consider trying to write that many words in a month. I'd add my puny daily word count to my spreadsheet and by day three I'd be in the depths of despair. Ten days in and I'd feel the word "Failure" shining in scarlet letters on my forehead.

I didn't sign up, but I just started a new novel on the first. I think I'll see how far I get by Nov. 30. I have 2974 words so far.

Janet...

You should never feel like a failure.  Not with NaNo for sure.  No matter how many words you get written during Nov., it's more than you had when you started.  And that's all that counts.  Remember, you can't revise something unless you have something to revise:--)

Lynette...Good job so far!!!  You should sign us just for the heck of it.  Again, it's just a fun way to spend the month and get some words on paper.

I decided on a fantasy for this year's NaNo but it's going well.:--)
