I have done something tonight I thought I'd never do here: locked a thread, and banned a member. I'd like to think I'm not at all heavy-handed when it comes to running this forum. In the many years I've been around MWF, we've been a self-policing bunch. I'm more than a bit surprised at the recent turn of events.

Doctor Allen has been banned from this forum. I don't anticipate letting him back in any time soon.

In a PM, he threatened to "bring this forum to its knees." He's changed his registered email address to a throw-away, but I've reported that address and his IP addresses to my host, in case anything happens.

We now return to our regularly scheduled programming.

I stopped reading anything he wrote after the first couple of times. There are plenty of groups out there for such people, hopefully he will find one and enjoy the company of like minded people.
