Author Salon Wants Writers to Join and Work Towards Publication

(1/1)

RebeccaK:
Author Salon, http://authorsalon.com, a new writer-critique and ms showcase website, is looking for writers in the genres of mystery, cozy, thriller, detective and true crime, to become members of Author Salon during our Best 2 phase.

Author Salon has established a critique method that is rigorous and demanding, but one we feel will produce results. We wish the site to become a magnet for good writers and projects, especially those we can help nurture into contracts with agents and publishers.  If we can't do that, we fail, and failure is not an option.

We currently have a member, Wendy Eckel, writer of a murder mystery called KILLER ON THE WALL (regarding a killer lurking on the Facebook wall) getting lots of interest from a major agency in Los Angeles.  We believe this project, with an advance blurb from author Penny Warner, will become published. We also have considerable interest and support from several major agents and publishers who have already asked to be kept informed on the progress of several projects.

What is this worth to you right now? We're not offering a guarantee to anyone.  We can't.  We're just telling you we're going to do our best to polish and showcase your manuscripts. If you win at the game, so do we.

You can find our FAQ here: http://www.authorsalon.com/page/general/faq/ and our "About" page here: http://www.authorsalon.com/page/general/prologue/

There is no cost to join during our Beta test, however, anyone who joins as a paying member after our Beta test is complete, and who does not think Author Salon has provided them with services as promised, can request and receive a full refund.  We don't exist to make writers unhappy.  We just want to get writers published.

Thank you and Regards,

Thank you for offering such a service. I, for one, would prefer to do an audio series (webisodes, if you will but only audio) which can be downloaded onto smartphones, lapttops, satellites by NATO countriews and the like. Just kidding about NATO.

Anyway, again, my thanks for your service.

Jeffrey McGraw

author of the Ross Malone thrillers.
