At 1:00 PM on Sunday, 16 Sept 2007, the regular meetings of the MWA's Midwest Chapter will re-commence at the Centuries and Sleuths Book Shop in Forest Park, IL.

The speaker will be Jean Gould O'Connell, the daughter of Chester Gould, the creator of mystery icon Dick Tracy.  She'll be talking about, and signing copies of, her new book Chester Gould - A Daughter's Biography.

While I'm on the subject, this seems like a good place to mention that, starting in January of 2008, I'll be teaching a class at Oakton Community College in Skokie, IL, entitled Dick Tracy in Hollywood - 70 Years of Crime-Stopping on Film.
