Well, that took waaaaaaaay longer than I expected. What should have been a 15 minute process ended up running for over three hours, so I went to bed. Sorry if anyone went through withdrawal.

I am hopeful that the upgrade is otherwise seamless. There are some new registration tricks up my sleeve now, which is the main reason I upgraded.

That's my whole experience with technology.  Went to hotsink my pda the other day (2 mins, tops) and it ended up taking over an hour with me thinking the hardware was finally going, when I finally stumbled upon a setting that I seem to have inadvertently turned off.....   Didn't even know the setting existed!

I figured out that my problems (of not being able to post) arose from the fact that I needed to log in again.  Not sure if this is permanent now.  Apparently guests can't post.  Makes sense.  I just didn't expect it.
