I'm working on adding Google AdSense ads to the forum. My goal is to raise a bit of money to pay for hosting. I'm not trying to get rich here. Hosting fees aren't bad; I just figured this might be a nice way to offset them.

I'll be using text-only ads, so they shouldn't be intrusive. Everything should be germane to the topic, as I understand it. I've already added the code to the site homepage and the Resources page, if you want to get an idea of what you'll see.

It may take a day or so before they start showing up on the forum itself. They're supposed to be appearing at the bottom of most pages, and just under the menu bar on others. At the moment, I've only got it working on the default theme, so if you're using another theme, you might not see ads for a few days.

Edit: At the moment, there's an error getting the ads to display, so if you see something that says "Parse error," that's what that's all about.

If you were having trouble getting in around 0100 EDT Friday Morning, sorry about that....   

I gave up on getting the AdSense mod running, so I uninstalled it. But in the process, that killed some critical files the theme needed to work. It took me a while to get things righted.

At any rate, I can't get the "Babylon" theme working again, so here's this one, which seems a little brighter and crisper to me.

Oh, thanks for the explanation, you had me wondering.    By the way, I find this one is easier to read.
