paramedic procedure?
« on: April 26, 2016, 01:01:10 AM »

I have an oddly specific question,

If someone were injured (stabbed or shot) in an underground bunker how would the paramedics get the person up the ladder? I assume a some sort of stretcher?

thank you!!

Ellenior, google: cave rescues. Folks with broken limbs and puncture wounds are transported (in the dark) via specialized (Stokes) litters over challenging terrain.

see also: Coast Guard rescues, fire rescue.
