WITSEC, the Feds, and Ohio
« on: July 19, 2009, 04:47:32 PM »

Does anyone know if Ohio has any sort of Witness Protection Program? I know Hamilton County was setting one up in late 04 or early 05.

I've got two characters who are connected with mob families in Youngstown, and they want out. She's the niece of one of the bosses, and he's her boyfriend, but he's also in the family. They've been feeding some information to my main character, and they want to get out of the mob life. I don't need much detail, especially on the Federal side; a lot of that is easily available. But I was curious about Ohio.

I would assume that if it exists, it's run through BCI and the AG's office?

Sometimes it takes therapy to put the past behind you. Other times, it takes a 20 gallon trash bag and a couple of cinder blocks.
