What e-mail program do you use, Lynette? They will all be a little (or maybe a lot) different.
Here's what Outlook does. If you have Outlook Express, it will probably be similar but not exactly the same.
In Outlook, go to Tools. Pick Options. When the Options box comes up, pick the Mail Format tab. Under Stationery and Fonts, you can pick a default stationery. Mine is set to <None>, but I'm guessing yours is set to something other than that. Pick <None> as your default, and you'd be all set -- in Outlook.
Maybe this will give you a clue even if you're using some other e-mail program.
