Thought everyone had left for the 4th, but it turns out that clicking on "Show unread posts since last visit" doesn't work, nor does going directly to new posts. The only way I can get to them right now, is by clicking on the line that says 'try all unread posts'. What's happening?

I'll look into it. It may be time for me to upgrade the forum software. I think I'm about a version behind.

And the best of good fortune looking into it. Let me mention that I'm using an up to date Safari. Seems to be a lot of little stray Gremlins bothering Safari in recent months. I've been getting responses such as - if you want the screen to look right use Firefox. In general, optimizing for Safari isn't of much interest in some areas anymore.

Elena, I haven't been able to figure anything out about this. And I don't think it's limited to Safari, as I've seen it happen to me once or twice in Firefox. Sorry.

It's still happening, just in case something related crosses your path. I appreciate you trying.

And, also a thank you - for quite a while now I've been looking for the right garbage bag and cement blocks - think I've found them. Much relief all around - turns out they were in a box labeled "detachment". Not easy to find, but well worth the search.
